Aetheria Bloom
You're the caretaker of Grandpa's farm, and your farmhand is P.O.N.C.H.O., a little salvaged drone you program to till, plant, harvest, explore the ruins and fight what's down there. You build his programs from blocks at first, then type them in G-Script, a small Python-like language.
Play
- Download the launcher (Windows). Put it in its own folder and run it. Windows may say "Windows protected your PC": click More info, then Run anyway (the launcher isn't code-signed yet). Pick Stable (tested) or Beta (the newest things first); it keeps the game, and itself, up to date.
- Log in with Discord to play online: a shared town, chat, friends, a world boss and community events.
- Join the Aetheria Bloom Discord: news, help, playtests, and the place to tell us what you think.
- Press F8 in the game to report a bug. What the game keeps about you: Privacy.
Getting started
- Press Run (F5): Poncho plants a row of radishes. Then add move West and harvest() blocks to bring him back and pick them.
- Grandpa's Notebook (N, and the strip at the top) always says what to do next. If you're stuck for a few minutes, Poncho reminds you.
- Take the mail by the shed: a Waystone to Mendwell, the town. Sell crops at the Market, buy seeds and manuals at the General Store.
- Keep Poncho busy with a forever loop, grow potatoes (they're your money), and upgrade his parts.
